Newbie Intro

Lovely condition! A credit to you and the previous owners!
Bit of a stain on front passenger seat.... Child spillages no doubt ? but considering it was a mum's car it's been looked after. Colleagues husband had a mk1 S3 , so says a lot....... ??

I've only had a week so done some tinkering with misfire, lumpy idle and clean and polish..... Wheels have minimal scuffs in only a couple of places....

A couple of observations on your underfloor space picture in the boot.

1. The centre cap remover sitting in the tyre goo hole belongs in the small slot just behind the locking wheel key. I've marked this A on your picture.

2. The vacant space on the driver's side (marked B) is intended to hold a tyre inflation pump. There's currently one such pump listed in the Market here should you want one:

Lovely looking motor :) (but I am biased!)

Someone's done a good job on your climate panel, in a "Mum's car" they're normally very prone to wear from longer fingernails and hand cream. Best thing is to pick a temperature, set it to Auto and just leave it alone, except for the heated rear window and demister in the winter.

I have been a bit clever with a Sharpie to be honest ???? I had lots of white showing through on a few switches....

Oh, I thought it might have been slang for a Stanley knife or similar!!

It’s official, I am actually my Dad...
