Hey Everyone,

I'am new to the forum. I collect my A2 this saturday after having a Peugeot 206 CC for a year and peugeots before that I decided to have a change.
Would be interested to know what people think of the A2 and if I need to look out for anything.

Welcome to the forum.

Like most of the members, I am completely smitten by the A2. The car has had a few quality issues over the first few years of its life, however you have bought at a good time as most are now resolved.

Whats the spec of your A2 : Petrol/Diesel. What options have you had?

How did you find the 206CC-I read they are not brill at quality (especially the hood)?.

Well done - I think you have made an excellent choice. The build quality of the A2 is excellent and the mechanical problems which have dogged the car in the early years seem to have now been ironed out.

I am getting the 1.4 SE Petrol in Dolphin Grey. The extras are a 6 cd Changer and Climate Control which I think are must haves.

I found the 206 CC a complete pain. It went back to the garage a total of 15 times for various problems and was there for well over 3 months out of the year I had it. The problems are fixed although there are still a few annoying niggly bits with it so thought it is costing me an absolute fortune on Insurance, petrol etc that I would get rid and thats where I decided on the A2.

Same spec as mine - you'll be pleased with the 6cd player, and the sound system fitted is really good.

Hope you enjoy your car - I'm sure it will be much more reliable than the 206CC. I know there are a few niggles here, but I've only had very minor problems and I believe that's true of most A2 owners.
