No clutch resistance and can't put car into gear - URGENT

I really hope someone can help because I am supposed to be P/Xing my A2 tomorrow morning! :(

I have a 1.4 2002 petrol A2. It's been sat on my drive for the last week as I've been trying not to use it. My husband went to swap our car's around this morning only to find that the clutch has no resistance (you can just push it to the floor and it stays there) and its impossible to put the car into gear when the engine is running.

Can anyone advise? It's fairly urgernt that I sort this as I'm supposed to be collecting my new car tomorrow, with the A2 being a p/x.

Thanks for any help.

Is there any liquid under the car? sounds like there has been a loss of your clutch fluid, water in the clutch hydraulics or something like this. That's where I'd start.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Fortunately, my next-door-neighbour works for the AA so nipped over and had a quick look.

He mentioned something about the break fluid, spent 10 minutes fiddling and now she runs perfectly again.

My last evening of being an Audi owner! Boo
