Help I changed the fuel filter on my 02 1.4 tdi and car is now totally dead.I have traced the problem to the fuel pump at the tank it has zero power goin to it regardless of ignition on , off or cranking. Can anyone tell me the location of the relay , the fuse that supplies it and where it gets its power from.I have also checked the car for error codes and there are none.Thanks in advance Davy
Ok I have now come to the conclusion that there is no electric pump in the tank.Car is still refusing to start no fuel is being circulated around the fuel system at all , is there any way of testing the mechanical lift pump that sits on the end of the rocker cover and takes its drive from the cam shaft.
