A wonderful drive today through the Forest of Bowland. From the high points, we could clearly see the three major peaks of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lune estuary, the entirety of Morecambe Bay and the hills of the Lake District beyond.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather to display my local stomping ground. Although I am always happy to work on A2s at the socials and forego the daily activities, I really enjoyed being a participant on this one. The photos above were taken by Jessica, sometimes with her upper body through the OpenSky sunroof.

Many thanks to everyone who made the journey. It was great seeing you all. I hope you had as much fun as Jessica and I did.

A big thank you goes to everyone involved in organising and helping with this weekends social. It was good catching up with new and old faces again but as Dave already said it passed way too quickly.

Also a big thanks to Steve for taking the undertray to the event for me ✌️ I didn't actually end up with it, Becky mentioned she needed one for her blue storm so she ended up taking it home lol

Apologies for not joining you all again today. Gardening to do here. It`s Green Bin Day tomorrow and Suzy is never happy unless both of our Green Bins are full to overflowing !

Do you have an ETA for Bridge House Farm Tea Rooms please ? Just in case I get the urge for a drive over there.

Steve U
Sorry Steve only just noticed your post. See you around soon

Interestingly, we also get to see watery sunsets in Norfolk too as we have the only place on the east coast that points west (Hunstanton) 😀
Not wanting to diss Norfolk (see what I did there? :)) and rather more remote, but I bet the sunset from Spurn Point at the end of the Humber estuary is good too. Gullane and Burghead on the Scottish east coast could also compete.
