I'm a new A2 (53 plate TDi sport) owner after my Husbands passion for Audi (he owns a s2) had finally rubbed off. He had prewarned me that other A2 owners may wave or acknowledge me in my new tonka toy.. and he was correct... I spotted, and was waved to, by a gentleman in a black A2 on Mapperley Plains.. what a buzz:D

All in all I am loving my A2!!

Im probably the wave man, i live in Carlton so im always around the area. I too love my A2 1.4 petrol, and its nice to give any A2s a wave.Glad to see you have found this great members site,all the information you will ever need is here!!
Who knows we may pass again so dont forget to 'wave', cheers Alan, (other title is Victor Meldrew Ha,Ha.)
 
@Misty - glad to hear your husband still has his S2 - I sold mine 2 years ago after 5 years of joyful ownership, biggest mistake I think I've ever made, I still miss it every day :(

I just bought my A2 a month ago and it's a lovely car, not had any waves back from all the A2s I've spotted in London yet though - but then London's not a very friendly place!
 
Actually it was me - I'm always round that area and remember waving at you!

Both the missus and I have 1.4tdi's in black (as you can see below).
