Number plate lights

The sockets slide out of the tailgate lower panel which has to be removed unless you have managed without having to do so?

because all 3 of my bottom clips have snapped, my lower panel is now only held in by the 4 clips at the top, and the 2 screws you mention.

ill try and get some (probably) m4 screws to go through these holes and add some double sided sticky foam to hold the bottom of the panel on as its currently a bit 'flappy' :oops:

What colour is yours? I have a silver one here...
 
If you still have the broken off tabs you could reattach them with the super glue and bicarb of soda trick.

Hmm maybe I remember incorrectly. When I did it, I noticed it would be possible to remove them with the lisence plate in situ, but seeing the video again perhaps I remember incorrrect!

If the number plate hasn't been screwed/bolted the plate itself will come off with the lower exterior trim
