Hi All,
Just serviced my A2 for the first time today and what a job.
I haven't got the 'tool' for removing the oil filter, and can honestly say next time I will have.
Never knew that they had hidden the oil filter by the maniford.
But not one to give in, I ended up removing the manifold to get a chain wrench to the oil filter to get it off.
Just a little one for anyone attempting it, be prepared, it's not as easy as other cars, and where the filter is located, have some rags ready for the oil when it's removed.
Now I've done it once now, the air, oil, pollen filters and plugs should take an hour next time.
I would definately advise investing in the socket for the oil filter for anyone who likes to do it themselves.
