Hi all, Just joined this forum!!! AMAZING!!!

need a lil hand with the computer trip on the dials, how do I bring up the trip (mpg etc) on here?

I've got a 1.6 FSI SE 53 Plate btw...hope somebody can help :-s

Hello and welcome to the club!!

If you gave the ability to switch between various settings on the dash (and not all A2s were so equipped), you'll have a little rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk - use this to flip around them.

There is also a reset button on the bottom of the same stalk - a quick press of this actually turns the display on or off, a prolonged press resets the value displayed at the time.

mine dont have no buttons on the stalk

i only got to buttons on the dials themselves :-/

any chance in upgrading to this option?

You can upgrade, but it'll cost you well into 4 figures!

You have the low-line version then, with a small plastic bar halfway down the screen, which was the standard option.
