open sky roof

So - would it be possible to retro fit - just thought I would ask as am in process of retrofitting many things I dont have.

Oooohhhhh, a huge job I would think-cheaper to buy a whole new car.

You would have the cutting out, extra support put in, protection of Alu parts from metal to stop corrosion, electronics etc etc

Good luck if you go at it with a tin opener!!!

I test drove one with the open-sky roof, and the air turbulence (sp?) and that kinda baffled air effect (hmm you know what I mean) was terrible above 30 mph, only reason I turned the car down. And that was after waiting for a suitable car with open sky!

I find the wind buffeting to be unbearable when you have the window open and are going more than about 30mph, but it's easily solved by opening the open sky just a fraction. Not sure why this solves it but it makes such a big difference.

It sure does, just open it a fraction. TBH, I close it when I get on open roads and just use the ECC, but going around town it's nice to have the roof open.

Leave it well alone! if its not done right it could leak, come off or just cost a shed load to get it put right.
