I posted this as a reply but shall stick it out on its own for some opinions
I bought my second A2 from Stafford in December one or two things went wrong door straps etc but thats okay Then the open sky big carry on fighting with everyone Eventually it was booked in to Glasgow and they were going to carry out the repairs for Stafford However when Glasgow sent the bill Stafford have came back with its an uneconomical repair at 3000 If it was a crash it would be a write off They wont fix it They have offered to buy the car back and refund 2200 or I have to think of a figure of cash to live with the problem They suggested 500 or I could have a good price on an A3
THEY JUST DONT GET THE A2
So Im stuck they certainly aren't getting the car back and I still want my sunroof fixed so heading for stale mate
Audi customer service set all this in place and don't know yet that no repair shall be completed I will try to list up the faults and costs Later Jean going mental on comp again about the sunroof Been going on fairly constant for 2 months now

Audi have stepped in an all repairs including the open sky will be repaired Thanks to audi customer services However the sunroof situation is something they should address If some guy can take off his roof and fit a sunroof its a joke trained technicians cant use arepair kit

Truth be told, Audi (as in dealerships) don't like the A2. It's a bit of an ugly duckling in their opinion, tight to work on, and with more than it's fair share of problems. The new A1 will sit nicely on their forecourts and raise the entry level price of owning an Audi. In some respects you can draw a comparison with the A-Class Mercedes. My wife used to have one, but the badge never lived up to the rhetoric and we traded it in for an A2. No regrets - but Audi's attitude sucks. I only visit the dealership for spare parts or if they have a special deal on (£100 for a brake fluid change and air-con re-gas for example). Good luck with this!;)

Hello

I had a broken sun roof for a while, then the glass was broken so I had to get it sorted. It was fixed by an independent - Avalon in Street, Somerset.
Few months on and its still fine no leaks, some slight rattles but maybe I am just listening out for them.
Not sure what the final cost was as I was not paying, but as an independent then they should be more competitive, and now they have had a chance to practice on my car so they should know what they are doing.

Sorry Avalon motors are in Glastonbury not Street, they are linked to a Citroen dealership a little way down the road but are not exclusive
