Pepperpot centres

Hi folks, is anyone able to confirm that these centres fit pepper pots? 8L0601165A.
I'm not sure about the fitting on the rear.

The 8L0601165D look like the correct fitment to me, but maybe more than one centre fits??. Cheers
They’re not pepperpots centre's. PP’s have the retaining ring running fully around the outer.

The hub cap with OEM part number 8L0601165A and labelled number 14 in the diagram below is for the alloy rim labelled number 5 in the diagram below, so won't fit a pepperpot.

A pepperpot which is labelled number 4 in the diagram below needs hub cap with OEM part number 8L0601165D which is labelled number 15 in the diagram below.

Pepperpot hub caps with OEM part number 8L0601165D are still available to order new from Audi dealers for about £33 each.

Hi there, so just to check, if my pepperpot rim is 8L0601025E, what’s the part number for the centre caps? And can I order them from anywhere?

Morning,

The information above in post# 23 is spot on. For clarity though, the correct part number for Audi A3 Pepperpot is:

8L0 601 125D

Here's a couple of images of the rear of a Pepperpot Centre Cap fitted to Project OEM:

These are still available new from Audi Tradition but choosing this purchasing option does have shipping challenges:

You can usually find a replacement centre cap on the usual auction website but as with any used part, it may need to be refurbished to match the condition of the other 3 on your vehicle.

Kind regards,

Tom

Hey Tom, thank you so much for this! Looking to get centre caps for my pepperpots.

Much appreciated. Just to make sure, they’d fit these right?

Just for clarity, there were two versions of pepperpots, as shown below.

8L0601025D is the burnished aluminium version.

8L0601025E is the avus silver version.

Both versions were available on the Audi A3 until 2000, but from 2001 only the avus silver version was available on the Audi A3.

Hey Tom, you’re right again!

Received this email from them after placing an order saying they can’t ship to the UK.

Any idea who else I may approach?
