Just saw Widdy's post about a boot that won't open.
Today I noticed that my petrol flap would open - but won't close.
The reason why it won't close is because the 'catch' that extends Left-Right and which latches on to the plastic cover, remains in the body of the car.
(I know I'm not describing it very well!).
By trial and error I dsscovered that the only way to make it appear is to keep pressing the switch that opens the petrol flap.
(The remote locking doesn't have any effect).
Have booked it in as a warranty repair for 3 weeks' time but has anyone else experienced this. (WD40 won't free it).
Thanks
Mark

Possibly the actuator(is that the right word, but the electro-mechanical thing that pops the catch) has gone.

WD40 doesn't always do the trick-maybe a light oil (3-in-1) is needed.
