position to lift up the front of A2?

Hi,
most probably I just reveal my complete ignorance of repairing cars: I've been looking for the dedicated place to lift up the front of my A2, i.e., both sides simultaneously. I have located one harder area that, in my opinion, is a good candidate for a lifting position.

Somebody maybe recognize from the picture if the flat surface I have positioned is the one dedicated for lifting up the car front?

You could raise the car from this section, but I'd not recommend it.

In fact, I'd not recommend trying to raise both sides at once to be frank - it's actually dangerous and if one side is heavier than the other, or the car slips, the jack will be thrust into the engine/gearbox and will damage it.

The proper jacking points are behind the front arches and are specially re-inforced - use them for safety sake

Cheers,

Mike
