Potential purchase

Hi all,

I'm planning on buying an A2 from Wom Automotive, whom I believe has a very good rep in the A2 world . I'm new to A2's which seem quirky to me . I currently have a remapped and slightly modded m235i . Main reason for purchase is my work commute is now 80 miles a day ( previously only about 15miles) and I'm spending nearly £100/ week on fuel alone on the 235, so fuel economy is essential to me. Would appreciate comments and feedback on the car I'm looking, I understand this is a very good example. My questions are:
1. Do A2's come with Aircon
2. How difficult/expensive is it to fix sunroof?
3. This car is slightly above my budget , any comments about price , have they gone up in the last few years?

Many thanks for advice and guidance
You could buy cheaper than from WOM, but it will be sorted. Aircon was a very common spec but not universal

Hi , I'm also looking at a 1.4 petrol SE , I realise they're not as economical as the 1.4 TDI but seem like there's more petrols for sale. Is 50 mpg realistic from a petrol? I do mainly dual carriageway ( A38) commuting 40 mile one way . Also would value advice on what things to look out when viewing one privately. Thanks

Hi Mugen, if it's well maintained then yes ... I consistently get 450 miles from a full tank down to the beeps, approximately 54 mpg 😀

45 mpg on a run is what I get on the FSI, so a bit more out of a 1.4 should be fine.
Depending on where you drive, the fact that the petrol engines are ULEZ compliant, may be worthy of consideration too.
Mac.

I was at WOM yesterday (29/11/2022) and seen this car in the flesh...... Oh my what a lovely colour
