It was all about the tdi today. Very pleased with the results. Especially the engine bay. Very good value for money.

Looks brilliant! What wheels are they that's my favourite wheel I've seen so far. Is it a 90? The etop right engine mount area looks different to mine. Is that something custom?

I think you are looking at the diesel cabin heater rather than engine mount, this was fitted to the earlier cars.

Later cars have electric heaters so have a bit of a gap instead.

Wow, what depth in the paintwork, very high standard achieved there for sure, I have no doubt your very pleased as would I be James. Love those wheels, they are a perfect match for the car.

Hi,
It's a 75tdi on 214000 miles. The wheels are Audi A3 8L using pcd hubcentric adaptor spacers. The drivers side top mount does indeed have a webasto fitted to it and an after market horn.

These look like later model A3 8P alloys that are 5x112 fitment rather than the standard 5x100 on the A2 and older mk1 A3 8L model?

With having the higher offset (usually around et54) they lend themselves well to using 20mm 5x112 to 5x100 adapters which bring them to a more suitable et34 which is pretty perfect for the A2 and very similar to a lot of standard fitment 5x100 A1 and mk1 TT alloys that wouldn't require spacers or adapters.

I have to say they do look good though even with the addition of the rim protectors?

Hi,
yes, sorry A3 8P wheels. Et56 with 5x100 to 5x112 pcd 20mm hubcentric adaptors.

Hi Andrew,
Fence is very close to me, let me know when you're around. The guy that did this work is in Chadderton Manchester.
I can pass on his number on a pm if you wish.
