Not an FSI guru. Assuming the mechanicals all align, nothing broken the vacuum is good. Can't remember if it is done at the same time as the throttle body alignment. Or is this the issue the Proboost ECU fixes?
New job turned up on it today, Mrs C came with me to the shops, turns out the passenger door doesn't open from the inside...saved a fortune in the shops though ???
Need to replace the cable tonight now!
@Clackers
Turn the ignition on, but do not start the car.
In VCDS:
[Select]
[01 - Engine]
[Measuring Blocks - 08]
Enter Group 060
[Go!]
[Switch to basic settings]
Once you do this you will see the top right display say ADP RUN. The TB adaptation is being done as soon as you
switch to basic settings. You will see the values change and hear the TB cycle for the first few seconds then it will
stop. Leave it in Basic Settings for about 30 seconds.
Be sure not to touch the accelerator.
[Switch to Meas. Blocks] button and you're all set.
Run a scan, clear any errors, go for a drive, making sure you get above 3000 rpm a few times (so the flaps do their thing).
Cross your fingers, and scan ...
Mac.
Foe those that were concerned, Mrs C is now out of the car, a little dehydrated, but I needed to fix the door cable...
Door cable now done, can'tunderstand why she's locked the front door to the house though? Maybe it's a test?
