The Rear PDC retro fit is almost complete. All I need to do now is remove the rear bumper, cut the holes, insert the already colour coded sensors then refit said bumper.
Tom
Morning,Did you see this can loan you the cutter
What no pictures. Thats just teasing!!!!
I will certainly provide a write up Dave with my thoughts once the conversion is complete.Nice one Tom... I've often considered this upgrade myself so will be interested to hear your thoughts when completed.
@depronman , I might have misread your post, but can the speedometer reading actually be calibrated? With VCDS?Tom. My jdd box provides the same ratio in 5th as your myp will in 6th
What I found was that 60 is no longer the most optimal as the engine is at slightly low revs for optimal power/torque
65mph is actually now the sweet spot but 70mph is only slightly worse
These are all true mpg as per sat nav which I have now used to calibrate the speed so it reads a true speed not slightly over - I just prefer it that way

Evening David,What’s the preparatory work that needs to be done to the gearbox out of interest? Just a check over and new seals?
