Project Papaya (CS)

A little update on what has been happening with the Papaya.....

I have addressed some mechanical imperatives:
  • Aux Belt
  • Tiiming Belt
  • Water Pump
  • New Pads and Discs all around and new brake fluid
  • Clutch fluid replaced
  • Wheel Alignment
  • Full service, including Spark Plugs, Coil Packs, Oil + Filter, cabin filter, air filter and coolant.
I have also had the car resprayed where needed to get it looking in excellent condition, including having the arches and plastics completed in Audi Satin Black. At the same time I have had fitted a headlight wash front bumper and a rear parking sensor rear bumper (yet to be enabled) to complete the outside appearance upgrade.

So we are now a very fresh 34k miles with a recent very full service and some beautiful paint.

Hi there,
I live in Sweden. We have some confusion here about colors. Jaipur can be both red and orange in the swedish register. How is it in GB?

Hi - Jaipur is the same here in the UK - registration document on mine states car as red so would be recorded on official figures as that and not orange ( the car in this thread is Papaya not Jaipur though as you probably know already)

Kind of funny about the color. What I know we have one papaya here for sure. 1,4 tdi with 90 hp. Four registred as orange. Do you have the colorcode for papaya? Not LY2B, more like NCS or RAL.

Colour code for papaya is LY2B as far as I can tell

Back on topic

The papaya is in for a water leak to be fixed, yearly service and a throttle body clean. Nothing exciting to report but getting ready to be taken off the road for a while and let Project Cone take on daily duties. Will allow me to perform a deep clean though
