Project peperami - (A2Steve)

Steve,

This is looking to be an amazing thread. Hats off to both you and @Hef.

I like the seats and how they have been transformed, often desired fitting these in the past myself. I’d be interested to know which product and colour that was used for the leather covering as you know I’m considering repainting/refurbishing my Twist seats.

Really looking forward to see/read what else you can surprise us with. Very well done to you both.

Kind regards,

Tom

Good evening guys, thank you for all the kind comments. It has indeed been a very busy couple of weeks getting all the parts from my old castle red and lots of new ones transferred over. My garage is slowly emptying of A2 parts ?

I'll do my best to keep the thread updated as I go on but I'm finally taking it out for a run as the timing belt kit has been changed today and I want to try out these Recaro's !

I have to say a big thank you to @A2Steve and @Erlingtheyounger for arranging the sale (and the near death experience ?) and @Jellybean for the brackets to fit the seats.

It finally feels like I'm winning ?

Evening Tom @2work . The recolouring kit I used was from the furniture clinic, they didn't have twist in the database but I sent a headrest up so they could colour match it and to be honest it's perfect. £95 for a very comprehensive kit including the airbrush.

If you're interested let me know and I'll see if I've got the colour code ?

If you can get a sample to them I'm sure they'll match it up for you. They were really helpful ?

No credit to me or Erling really, all this hard work has been undertaken by Hef. I’m just loading the photos for him ?

Having seen Hef's hard work, workmanship and attention to detail up close on all his cars(and mine), i can only say he fully deserves a bit of good luck. Can't wait to see this and some of his other rescue projects up close.
