A new cluster scale has been designed and printed that simply has the markings rotated approximately 30 degrees to the left. The result is that the needles overlap the clock and odometer.

I like the wheels - indeed the whole car but its a hard pill to swallow on price based on UK prices.

The one thing that does frustrate is the need to use a phone to read the speed whilst driving in Europe as the km/h reading is so poor. Its good whilst you are out and about but obviously stops working badly in areas you really need it - e.g. Chamonix Mont Blanc tunnel for example!

Audi TT brake system, Weitec suspension, FSD shocks, turbocharger and performance enhancement, project Zwo rear spoiler (currently dismantled), 2 tailpipe exhaust system, steering wheel, instrument cluster, boost pressure gauge and center armrest as in pictures, real sports seats with electric lumbar support, double shaft -Navi radio, carefully long-distance (commuters about 150 km easy) driven and maintained, no repair backlog, no accident. The A2 is special and gave me a lot of pleasure.
Since I soon have 5 cars (too many), I separate myself. Please do not compare with prices of conventional A2. I am happy about serious calls or mails.

I've driven my A2 in Central Europe absolutely loads and have never had any issues reading the double mph-km/h scale. In the photo shown below, mph is white, km/h is red.
Only UK A2s have this double scale. All Central Europeans A2s just show km/h.

Cheers,

Tom

Ok then its just me ?

I think its the fact that the needle itself covers the km/h readings mean you have to judge speed based on the numbers below and above the needle and not what is actually pointing at. Make sense?

Yes, that does make sense. I'll concede that the red km/h markings are very thin and the needle is a little thicker at that point ...but my brain doesn't struggle to add or subtract 10, even when driving! :)

The black body kit, black wheels and black windows have ruined a perfectly good colour storm AGAIN. As for the km on the speedo, i vaguely remember someone produced a sticker that fits on the "glass" that has only km printed on it and was suitable for all VAG that had the same size speedo as the A2. Unfortunately did a search and could not find it..

Tom, your close-up eyesight is better than mine - I find them hard to see

I also find the km/h hard to read and found it much easier to use the satnav. I doubt if those stickers are illuminated at night which I think is a legal requirement.
