Looked out of the window last night and saw the radio backlight was on (the text display and all the button backlights on the Symphony unit), the car had been parked and locked for well over 5 hours.
Went to investigate, and the radio will not switch on, and no matter what I do the backlight to the Symphony is still on its brightest setting. Using the dash dimmer still works on all the other dash/steering wheel button lights, but the radio backlight is still at its brightest
As the radio was lit up I decided not to pull the fuse out (just in case), and figured that it wouldn’t drain the battery overnight. Have looked out this morning and the backlight is still on…..any ideas?
I’ll phone the ADT line in an hour or so, as there’s no point ringing the local dealer (Shrewsbury) they’re so busy they ALWAYS tell you to get the mobile Audi technician out.
