Radio DIN adaptor fitting?

Ok, am I missing something here. I bought this adapter for fitting a din radio but can't see how the darn thing fits. Help! Cheers

I’m no expert but that doesn’t look right. As far as I know a standard radio will go straight in, you just need two plastic trim pieces to fill the gaps either side. Autoleads do them, or at least they did.

This is what I have....the product description is a bit wrong, but practically all items for din adaptors to fit aftermarket radios look the same.

Try putting the stereo in first, then you put the big plate over the stereo, and the blanking plate over the top to hide the screws ...?

Done. It looks like a universal Audi part that needs to be cut and shut to fit any particular car.
