I have put some RainX on there in the past, but to be honest if I had enough money, I'd use Ombrello on the whole glass roof as it lasts much longer and is much more effective. See: http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/omb.htm

What's Ombrello and where do I get it?
It's the same principle as RainX only it lasts much longer (up to 10,000 miles per application) and in my opinion is better.

I'll second Stuart. Ombrello is great stuff and I used it on both my cars. Both will be getting a fresh treatment when autumn comes round again.
Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.

New A2 - Ebony Black, Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.

I use it on both cars, it always seems as though I need a bit more than they supply . It works well enough, better than rainX.
Have to agree with all the above, its the best thing you can do to your screen.
