Spotted a black LHD 1.2 TDI today on the A4232 just outside Cardiff. Private plate with the last 3 something like SEL or SSL I think. I have never seen one before. It was really clean and looked nice in black. There can't be that many in the UK I am guessing. Coooool !!!

That'll be Erling probably! Four in the UK that I know of, including ours.

Lee,

Missed the A2OC badges then!

My car's now past its 4th birthday and 104,000 miles. Still running fine, except slight judder/vibration on low speed downchanges. Coventry Audi suggested dragging clutch after coding retro fitted 'trick 1.2 TDI' cruise control for me early 2009 at about 80k, However Stafford Audi couldn't confirm anything wrong with clutch system at 90k 3rd variable service. So I'll wait until next service or until something happens! Cardiff Audi finally fixed n/s door crack with Audi foc mod kit in June - after a discreet 12 month 'war of attrition' campaign.
I'll be changing to the high grip winter 145/80 tyre wheel set soon, so if you see me again don't try to keep up round greasy islands as Conti's stick like .... to a wool blanket compared to summer Bridgestones.
I'd be totally lost without this car - especially now I've found a way to get a road legal 100kg 10 mph Alber Adventure electric powerchair in the boot. For now I've the best of both worlds -86 gm/km CO2 auto diesel A2, circa 86 mpg and 600 mile range, with an on board 'demountable' nil emission electric power chair with 20 mile range at 8 mph (speed limiter inhibited...for now)! Both are £0.00 Road Fund Licence vehicles, with aluminium/magnesium primary chassis structures/wheels and relatively softly sprung absorbent ride characteristics that I particularly admire and enjoy.
Ciao,

Erling
