rear bumper removal

can any one tell me how to remove the rear bumper, I have bought a rear sensor kit from Parking dynamics so the strip has to be installed inside the bumper. I have undone all the screws I can see under the bottom but must be more screws somewhere. Thanks. Adrian

Hi Adrian,
I've never taken my rear bumper off but from memory if you take the black plastic trim off carefully at the top of the bumper, with tailgate open you'll see it, under there are several screws/bolts, I do know there are also brackets that the bumper clips into on the wrap round section by rear arches, the bumper needs prising off from here too very carefully!
I'm sure I saw a very good video on here that someone posted a while ago but can't find it sorry!

The rear wheel arch liners have to be removed to get at the hidden screws. Consequently it is wheels off and on axle stands.

There is a thread covering the removal for resolving the "water in the boot" issue. There is also a U-tube clip
