Front or back?

I have a memory, possibly wrong, that the rear banjos on my FSI were M12x1.0 but other owners reported different. I also remember finding spec difficult to track down as the banjo comes with the brake pipe and therefore not listed separately with spec.

Proof reading this I realise not much help really, sorry.

Yep any M10 brake caliper copper washers will do. You can get 10 for couple of quid on ebay.
 
I don't have rear callipers on my A2 but I imagine they are aluminium? In which case your issue could be galvanic corrosion of the casting. Hopefully they are not to far gone and will tidy up. I would look to prevent further corrosion by fitting aluminium washers.
