Rear disc brakes

My A2 1.4tdi AMF has had a rear axle conversion to disc brakes. Is there any difference in rear discbrakes and if so how would I know which I have , looking to change rear discs and pads as the discs look to be worn unevenly and showing signs of rust, probably because they don’t get enough use
 
Rear A2 discs always but always rust. Even the nice coated ones don't escape the rot. In my 14 odd years I've probably changed them every couple of years on purely cosmetic grounds . Seems only a small area of the disc is ground by the pads so the outer section of maybe 40 to 50mm circumference start to pit and corrode.
 
Thanks Murdock and Carlston, just ordered ABS sensor from AUTODOC and will use them for discs and pads , probably just rears for now
