Rear fog light not working, any wiring diagrams online?

All, as per title. I checked the bulb and light switch, both are ok. The front fog lights are working so the fuse should be fine . Is there a relay? A wiring scheme would help me as well. All other lights in the same cluster are working as well. Anything else I can check? Many thanks in advance , Jorrit

Fit a brand NEW bulb. The bulbs can chatter in the fittings wearing away the contact face and the metal chassis can corrode around the bulb contact area. Have you tried one of the other single filament bulbs that you know works in the fog light socket?

in the past I have gently eased the spring contact towards where the contact should be and that has got me out of trouble.

thanks guys i will check tomorrow. I think i tried another bulb in the fitting but will measure the voltage to be sure

So measured the voltage in the bulb fitting, nothing. So checked light unit on resistance, ok.
checked whichub pin in fitting goes to the fog light, marked in photo
see photos below. Looked at the light cluster connector and this corresponds with white and grey cable. Red arrow
then I checked the switch, this NSL pole is connected to a purple red cable, blue arrow. Then I found the schedule below which shows a white And grey cable going to the fog light. I suppose i need to follow the purple and red cable? As always all help motivational posts are appreciated!

Have you replaced fuse 35? Do the front fogs work correctly?

Edit. Does the switch fully pull out to the second stop for the rear fog light(s)

Can you rig up a bulb and a couple of wires. Connect one wire to earth and the other directly to the rear fog output on the loom at the switch end? At least that way you will know the switch is OK or not.

solved. The grey and white cable goes directly from the light switch to the light cluster but in my case there mus have been a fault in the cable somewhere . I cut the cable at both ends, soldered a new cable, some tie wraps and all covered up, happy owner!

I have the same problem with the only differences that the driver side rear fog light is working. Changed the bulb on the passenger side but still nothing. Any idea what should I try? All other lights working fine I and I dont have front fog lights.

this is the standard set up And fully legal. If you want to have both lights working you will have pull a wire from the drivers side to the passengers side.

Yes, it's normal for the rear fog on the driver's side only to be connected. The passenger side has the bulb even but is not connected. If you import a LHD vehicle into the UK, you have to connect the RHS to the LHS. You'd think that it would be imperative that both function.
