My car sits on 205/45 R17s. However, from the rear it looks a little like these were an after-thought simply because the mudflaps are not as wide as the tyres (see attached pic) This is just a minor point, but wishing to make the car look its best, I just wondered if wider mudflaps were available? On the subject of making the car look its best I've decided on the rear door strips as the place for the club badges. Mmmmmmm............nice.

Yes, they are Vredestein Sportrak2. I would recommend these to anyone (or the equivalent Sportrak3 which has superceded the 2's). An excellent tyre in the wet and much cheaper than the Pirelli's I had previously.
Although it has to be said they do give more road noise.

Hi graham, ha, i know it seems anorakish, however i have just bought a full set of sportrak 2 205 40 17s from camskill (£58 ea) fantastic price, and i was surpised by the tread pattern which is very different.
they punch well above in terms of quality, and road noise to me is no different to dunlops, uniroyal, i have used, and much better than toyo.
Good place for the badge by the way, and i agree about the flaps, they are too small.

I must be as well lol, just looked at them and thought Vredestein, but at work when i fit tyres you look at the tread to know which ones to pull of the shelf
