Rear speakers buzz

04 FSI - rear sepakers buzz in the background of sound and also when stereo is turned off. Sounds like a suppression type of noise as it rises in frequency with revs until speed means that road noise drowns it out.

Local dealer have looked at it for about 7 days now and don't appear to have a clue - they plan to take it for another week and insulate the loom wire by wire on the advice of audi technical!
 
We had this on our current A2 when new.
The dealers had to have a car a couple of times but in the end I think they changed the stereo for a replacement unit & it cured the problem.
