Rear speakers not working, Is there a common problem?

Don't forget that Audi purportedly lost money on each and every Basic A2, they only made any money on them when extras were fitted ...

I knew they lost money but didn’t know it was on the basic ones.... what was the cheapest A2 could could buy in 2002? I’ve got the original bill from Audi and the 1st owner paid £15.500

I am given to understand the "plan" was to push the extras, and make a bit of money that way. Ultimately it failed though, as the car was very expensive for the time, and (again) a bit ahead of the game being the first real premium super-mini. It's taken a good few years for others such as MB and "Mini" to catch up.

I know but luckily I'm breaking a 1.6fsi at the moment so I'm going to rob the radio and speakers out of if for my one

I am not fussed... if it had them
And they were not working for some reason then I’d have to sort it but not bothered as this one is only a mile muncher
