Rear speakers

Hey everyone,

Iv'e just been referred to the forum.
this site is really cool.
just got an X reg A2 that came without cabling to the rear speakers,
opened up the doors and wired them up but they sound really poor quality and the sound is very low.

i just wanted to know, do i need an amp for these or something or maybe a new set of speakers?

Welcome to the A2OC
According to the old options list, the Chorus radio with front only speaker systems has a 40w output. This increases to 80w output with the additional rear speakers. I think the extra amp is under the front passenger side floor.
If you'r interested, a workshop manual and parts CD is available from Skipton - check out the For Sale section for more details. This would provide all the info required for the amp upgrade.

cheers for the reply mate, im gonna have a look tomorrrow and see it i ve got an amp down there.
ive got the manuals, but i dont think it says anything about the amp.
will have another look though
