Regularly loose remote locking functionality

I'm sure this has happened to others, but my car regularly looses the memory of the key and therefore remote locking/unlocking fails

A simple key in the ignition, out of ignition and press of the buttons sorts it but then at random times it fails again, could be an hour later could be a couple of days

Is there a simple fix or is it likely to be BCM?

Interesting, didn't think to try the other key...
That worked fine, unlocked/locked several times no issue, tried original key and it didn't work. Then tried second key and that didn't work having worked only 30 seconds before!

There may well be a problem with your CCCU unit.
