remap recomendation in East Sussex/West Kent

Well, having spent hours going through the past threads on the benefits of remapping the TDi engine, I've decided to bite the bullet on mine too.

However, getting up to Stealth is going to be quite some hike - especially if the M25 is as rubbish as it has been the past few days - so I was wondering whether there is anybody recommended who's closer to me (just south of Tunbridge Wells).

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

If Stealth still have their special offer on for A2OC members then you could probably cover the cost of an overnight stay in a Travel Lodge without it being any more expesive than a Custom Code or Superchip type remap. The big advantage with Stealth is that they do an engine health check, a baseline rolling road run then fine tune the remap on the rollers and provide before and after power and torque figures so you can see exactly what the imprevements are.
Sorry I can't recommend anyone else further south who could do the same.

Cheers Spike

Another HUGE benefit to having a Stealth remap is that they actually own 5 A2s between them, so they know exactly where to work the map - Vince has probably done more research into the A2 ECU than anyone else.

They come very highly recommended.

Cheers,

Mike

OK thanks guys, in this case, nothing is worth more than an informed recommendation and everything you say seems to point overwhelmingly towards Stealth.

I have a friend who lives just north of Oxford so I'll invite myself for the night on the way up. At least the cost of fuel isn't going to be too big an issue... :)

I can't recommend Stealth highly enough and the re-map certainly changes the car into a little pocket-rocket. I cant believe it took me 6 years to get mine done, but now I have I think I will be keeping her for another 6 years or more... Go for it!! ;)
