I'm typing this in the hope that Kim won't read the forum and realise one of her pressies for Christmas.

I've ordered a new gear knob, gear lever gaiter and handbrake grip, all in red leather. I'm hoping these parts are easy to remove & replace as I'd rather not pay Audi prices for the fitting. Does anybody have any experience of whats involved here? Should it all just pull off or is there more to it?

Thanx in advance.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.

New A2 - Ebony Black, Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.

All I can say is to agree with Lee in that the handbrake covers are easily removed with a pull and twist. Not sure what's involved with taking the gear lever off though. Would be interested to know though as I'd quite like to get a new knob too.
