Replace Blaupunkt Singel Din Navigator with Concert II

It's not a ground.
If ground is present in power connector pin, then usually case is grounded too. Even if they are not connected, radio would work (not talking about reception). So your problem probably is not related to grounding.
If you really want, you can just slam some bare wire between case panels and ground it for testing.

Post#14 shows it is some coax cable, so probably power or signal for antenna etc.

Connector in upper picture is for the diversity aerial unit. It is not an earth so do not earth it. Radio is grounded through the wiring connectors and also the case.

I believe you're Concert II is switched via Canbus (doesn't use a switched live, which the pre-canbus Chorus I, does), so won't switch on without Canbus connected.
Mac.

Thank you all, following your messages I've ordered a canbus adaptor and I'll see it can make it work, waiting for the repaired Concert to come back.

Not sure I fully understood what you wanted to acheive and in which car (age), but here is my recent experience from mounting an audi Concert 2 into my 2003 A2. My car was factory ordered for aftermarket radio, as many Swedish sold cars were. This meant that neither K-line or aCANbus was available at the connectors for the radio.
When I connected my Concert 2 bought from another member the result was that the radio worked well but could always be started irrespective of key position, and the back light was constant off.
So assuming you have a healthy concert 2, and +12V and ground present in you radio connector A you should be able to get the radio running, without a can emulator etc.

I can also mention that since then I have spliced the harness at the climate control to route the K-line wire and the CAN bus to the radio connectors, and hurray; now the back light intensity follows the rest of the dash, and the radio now follows the key: keyon turns on the radio (assuming I left it on at last keyoff).
