Sorry, there is mistake in the titel so it should be: resizing images (now found the second mistake:) : which )

As far as I know, the German forum uses the same software vBulletin.
We have a new add on or update so that images, directly displayed in a post by [img ] xxx.jpg [ /img] will be resized to fit in the frame /forum width.

(with this field: "click this bar to view full image")

Can you also install this add on or update? I just wanted to give the information about.

Bretti Kivi or schniggl in our forum should know about.

Hi,

Thanks for the recommendation. However, having looked at this third-party module, I'm inclined to wait until the next major release of vBulletin comes out (it went into Release Candidate 2 yesterday) - it includes this functionality out-of-the-box.

In the meantime - it's relatively easy to resize images using any number of freeware image resizing tools for both Windows and Mac platforms. Let me know if you need examples.
