S-line carpets

Yes they are available - I bought some from Stoke Audi last week - I think they were a couple of pounds

They just push into the hole in the soundproofing

Post #2 in the link below from the forum has details regarding A2OC mats; I'm guessing the price will have changed but the rest of the details should be good. Mike (A2Sumo) still has these in our yellow A2.

OK. If he can do them with a2oc logo and the shipping to Norway is reasonable, I'd like one LHD set in black.

Can Maso's contact do RHD mats? Ipresume they are different to LHD? I have asked the eBay seller I previously contacted if he is interested in doing mats with the club logo. I'll keep you posted.

I've heard nothing back from the UK ebay seller so presume he isn't interested in doing mats with the owners club logo.
Hopefully the options mentioned in other posts work out.

Thank you for the reminder. I got the call just today from my contact.

They can do the carpets. But some 50 sets needs to be made for them to be able to sell at a price people are willing to pay.

So now ppl need to tell me if we can gather some 50 orders and they can go for anything between £40-50 for a set of 4carpets with audi plastic holes that click into the floor and that fine A2OC logo.

Hi Alan. I'm not trying to scupper your enthusiasm here but it may be worthwhile to have a chat with the UK supplier in the link vonnie has provided or indeed the thread I've recently added to ( same thing)

The 50 sets from your chap is a fair ask and the postage will be much higher for the majority of potentially interested people.

I'd consider finding the cost of postage to Sweden etc. Cheers. Murdo

No enthusiasm here, people asked if I could check and so I asked the person I got the carpets from. As the carpets are not made in sweden but more east europe I would say postage shouldnt be ok to UK and the S-line set I got now is really good quality with proper clips. For that price is pretty good for being as close to oem as it gets.

I will only push this more forward if I get a fair interest otherwise I see myself not have that much time to hunt down orders from people as Im very satisfied with my S-line carpets as I just got them.

If anyone is interested: Ambassador Car mats http://www.ambassadorcarmats.co.uk/news.html have confirmed that the A2OC Super Velour Mats with logos on both fronts are still available the for £39.99 and P&P is £8.50 (mainland UK).

NOTE: They don't list the A2OC mats on their site, so I would suggest if anyone is interested that they look at the custom mats to see the different colour ways and then call them with your colour details and stating that you want the A2OC logo included.

I'm needing some new mats as the drivers side has now worn through, are these good to go for or where do other people get their mats from? just drivers side has worn through at the heel point under the accelerator.

Morning all,

I’m currently talking to 3 suppliers of quality car mats who can add the Clubs logo embroidered on the fronts.

A separate thread will be started once I have anything worthy to report. More than happy to stop my involvement if someone else is doing the same though. No point 2 people working on the same venture.

Kind regards,

Tom

Dare I ask if anyone (Tom @2work!) has checked out whether a supplier could replicate a new set of rubber mats at least for the fronts - or even the just the drivers side?

I personally would be happy to pay good money for something of equivalent quality / thickness to OE.

It’s the tool up costs £££££ (injection moulded ) unless your talking thousands of sets never worth it ... I think you have to be lucky as I recently was in picking a really nice secondhand set or buying a left hand drive set still available new and modifying ..they don’t look to bad I did this on one of the low mile a2s I had put away ...(now sold) .

Evening David,

I have made quite a few enquiries into having the rubber mats reproduced with a little logo enhancement. I did manage to find a UK company who were interested in taking this task on but the costs involved were astronomical. Maybe something I pick up again next year with a company that has a different process of producing them them. It will involve obtaining a CAD file of the mats first though.

Kind regards,

Tom

Only one problem the mats you get made in U.K. are hardly quality items ?. your better off imho buying the left hand drive genuine Audi a2 ones still available there’s some on eBay now they’re £49 inc

free delivery front only (but they are the ones that wear out ) I’ve enclosed a picture of them you can see driver-side lay your original rubber mat over it cut it around it works out a really good mat passenger-side works out slightly shorter up into the foot well but still a good fit..hope this helps I’ve done it myself ..
