S Line??

[:I] Right, I'm prepared to sound a little thick at this point, but can somebody please give me some info about S Line - i.e. what the hell is it??

I can't find any info about sline, heard the name a few times but what exactly is it? Is it interior stuff, or just the sport range i.e. alloys?? Third party stuff? It can't just be the fact that it's a sport, cos they don't come with an S Line rear badge!? Please put me out of my misery somebody please!! [21]

If you are reading this and also don't know anything about S Line please say so, as it would be very comforting to know that I'm not the only one out there?

Well, that makes sense as I got the feeling that it was just the sport range, but was confused as to why I didn't get an S Line badge on my Sport if that was the case. I've only heard of a few people refering to it as S Line (usually German), so I started thinking that it maybe a custom range of sports styling parts. As the TT spokes I've got on are usually refered to as S Line style.

The main reason that I'm asking is that I've just de-badged my car and ordered some more classy custom badges for the rear, which should be arriving today. One of which is the very nice looking S Line badge, so needed to confirm that it was just the Audi Sport range. As most people tend to love my car until they read the 1.4 badge at the rear, then laugh out loud for a short while! The second badge is from an american new beetle 'turbo'. Should look nice and subtle when it's finished, and have a bit more class and custom feel about it.

the S-line in Europe looks like the Sport pack in Britain, but there are some difference.
