Anybody out there retrofitted Audi satnav into an A2 with the bose sound, what did you use & how did you do it, I have tried mailing some satnav suppliers & have not received any replies.[25]

Which Satnav do you want to retrofit?
There is an excellent guide on how to retrofit the "small" Audi Satnav-Unit on the german forum and a german manufacturer sell´s the whole kit needed for EUR 399....
The colour screen SatNav is fairly expensive to retrofit if you don´t have the Symphony head unit...

There is a Bose adapter cable for sale on e.bay. Search for 'audi navi plus adapter' on the worldwide site, making sure you uncheck the search in £ box if displayed. I think this is required in addition to the ususal navi plus adapter cable.
I am thinking of doing the same conversion so please let the forum know how you get on.

Does anyone know about matching TMC tuners and sat navi+ head units ?
According to the parts book, TMC tuner 8EO 919 895 matches the sat nav unit (8ZO 035 192A) for my model year vehicle.
Question is, would an 8EO 919 895B TMC tuner also be compatible

Thanks Spike

I have had a look round and decided a Navman portable would be better & cheaper, I can use it on my Yatch as well!

Anyone used these guys at www.satnavsystems.com

They claim the can supply Sat Nav Plus (with the screen) for an A2, fitted and inc VAT for about £800.

Only proviso is that the car has to have a Symphony head unit in the first place.
