John spent his last days doing things his way and on his terms. A brave and inspirational man who I'm thoroughly proud to have met and spent a short time in his company. Big love to Sheila. Team A2OC are here for you always. ♥
Very sad to hear of the passing of John.
Sheila the A2OC community are all here for you.
M your words are moving and say it all. We must all go eventually, if we can do so on our own terms, showing even half the foritude, the passion and the kindness that John did we will all be doing well.

I have loads of photos (and tried to do some videos), but I used my camera more than my mobile. So, a little bit later on I'll put some. And I'm sure I have yellow Imola, as it always looks great on pictures :)

The official A2OC Scotland Social ended on Monday afternoon in Applecross. Whilst most did the return trip over the incredible Bealach na Ba pass, Jessica and I headed 25 miles further north. Here lies Liathach, king of the Torridon Giants. Rising up from sea level, it stands alone, untouched. Towering with an effortless majesty, Liathach doesn't care about the puny aims of man.
In the far north west of Scotland, two summits, both ~3400ft high, are linked by a long, castellated, knife-edge ridge. The objective, in case you hadn't guessed, is to climb one summit, cross the ridge to the other summit and then descend. The Liathach Traverse is one of Britain's great mountaineering challenges and returns rare views of surely its most awesome natural structure. Up for it, Jessica? Of course you are!

I keep seeing a grey fiat 500 amongst the pictures, was the person an A2 groupie?

Long standing A2OC member Richard joined us in this hire car. We were treated to some of his drone photography which I'm sure he will share. Fiat 500 mystery solved

Thanks for that, it's just we have a fiat 500c as well as A2's. Look forward to seeing the drone images

Looked at Mini and Fiat 500 back in 2008 to replace our Lupo. The money was on the Fiat. Then the Mrs confirmed she was pregnant and we bought an A2... The rest is history ?
