Hi folks. Whilst it's almost a year away can I please advise that accommodation prices are increasing and /or being booked up in Fort William . Skye will be an identical scenario. With the amazing response in the first week - my pre- booked accommodation on the island is near capacity.
In summary - if you fancy coming along and experiencing this amazing part of the world please let me know as soon as possible.

I’m planning on coming for at least a bit but... unfaithfully, I would probably come in a ‘gasp’ campervan. Hopefully still have it and hopefully it’s still running.

It is awful that I’m considering showing up in anything but my A2 but it is still VAG group though - and I can get a cuppa

Alex as per post on WhatsApp group I'm not sure you can park a camper at the weekend accomodation on Skye. Not overnight anyway. I'll let you know

Cheers buddy. It was just a thought but who knows what’ll happen in a year. I am barely organise myself for next week. Worst case my parents are in Ardnamurchan or I can drive up and back. Thanks for looking out for me.

Murdo - I will have to wait for the accounting timetable at work for this as I have limited times that I can take holidays during the month as does Lee, but it does look wonderful, so as soon as I know I will let you know.

Still plenty of time to sell the idea to her though !
We have been to all these places in the past and cant recommend the scenery , sea-food , whisky and of course the scottish welcome you's will receive enough.......

Hi folks. Would be lovely if you could make the trip. Maybe coax the rest of the family too.
There's space in the Cowshed on Skye at the weekend. We have it exclusively booked out for the club Saturday and Sunday .

Bookings for the Friday and Monday are up the individual to arrange . There's several recommendations on the thread where others are staying in and around Fort William.

Friday night hotel booked - The Garrison in the FW High Street. We still haven't decided what we'll do on Monday.

Excellent. FW isn't a big place so if folk are up for it we can enjoy a meal as a group. For those wanting to freshen up their motors after the long drive I've asked to have access to the fire station. I'm sure we can also get a look round the motors which should appeal to the kids ( and the big kids).
Thanks for the amazing response to this trip folks . It'll be a good 'un. ??
