You can't realy feel it with your fingers so how can I get that out? if not I will just get the panel resprayed with the insurance company because they have to do another scratch which is deeper

Richard they should polish with a buffer, if you are getting another scratch done ask them to polish that at the same time. it will take less an a minute to do and it will polish out we do that stuff at work and Audi's have very hard paint so polishing scratches out is a lot easier than say a Citreon 1 look at a machine polisher and the paint will go thru lol.

Cheers Phil

On one of the other pics of the same wing you've got another scratch a bit lower that should polish aswell. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH THAT WING FOR THEM SCRATCHES SHOULD NOT BE PAINTED ANY DECENT BODYSHOP SHOULD BE ABLE TO POLISH THEM OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have poished deeper scratches out than that them sort of scratches are bread and butter stuff for us at work. Hope this helps, have you got a pic of the other scratch?

Cheers Phil

Next time you scrub off the bird droppings, soften them first with a hot cloth, that way you avoid these light abrasion scratches - as Phil says, it'll buff out! ;)

Get a good coat of wax on the paint and it doesn't stick anyway

Cheers Phil

Very true Phil, get yourself onto detailingworld.co.uk Richard, and treat your black beauty to some clay bar, cleaner fluids and quality waxes! I cant wait for better weather to roll the sleeves up and prep Ada for her treat of 55% caranuba wax. Yep, I know I'm sad!
