Seat Covers that fit!?

Hi, at present I have the platinum cloth interior. My work sometimes involves me getting a bit mucky, to save the seats if like to get some seat covers.

Any recommendations?
At present I have some Goodyear generic ones and the fit is terrible!

Morning Fishman,

This question has been asked before but unfortunately no real answer/conclusion has materialised. A quick Google Search of A2OC Seat Covers reveals some threads that you should read through before deciding on what option to go for.

Here is a thread that was started whilst the A2 was still in production and mentions the significant safety implication of covering the airbags, Interestingly it also the points to a possible solution of using a Polo Seat Cover. The thread is no longer active and the members involved are no longer regular users, so I would avoid the thoughts of the Polo seat covers. If they were to fit perfectly I would have thought it would have been discussed over time, but this very question has been asked quite often.

More recently, this thread mentions the option of adapting seat covers to weaken the area around the airbags. No one has confirmed that they have actually done this so probably best to avoid also unless you're good with a sewing machine.

This is the most recent thread that was started last year which again mentions the covering of critical safety devices.

I often live by the statement that 'nothing is impossible', but it seems that there is no safe off the shelf option here.

What I find useful is carrying spray bottle of diluted Elbow Grease works perfectly after having 'those pesky kids' in the back.

Kind regards,

Tom

Seat covers are (or should be now) airbag compatible, they have weakened stitching on the sides and will be labelled as such.
