Servicing in Cambs/Peterborough area

Hi All,

My A2 is showing "200 miles to next service" on the variable servicing, so I need to book a service in somewhere, its the 2nd service, 1st service was done at 17k in september 04, its now coming up to 24k, brake fluid will need doing as this was done at the 1st service too.

Has anyone got any recommendations of places in the Peterborough/Cambs area, the warranty is up in february, so not too worried about having the car servied at an Audi dealer, has anyone dealt with Audi Specialists at Burwell?

Any help appreciated, Thanks
TP

What would be good is if we had a list of independants that are willing to work on A2's and are not stealers .......I may start one up ....

Hi TP

As the warranty is about to expire it may be worth having the service done by your Audi Dealer one last time. I think it is part of the service but ask about checking all systems for fault codes and fixing any problems found. Audi is pretty mean nowdays regarding goodwill (they don't have any!) repairs so make sure your motor has a clean bill of health before the 3 years is up.

Cheers Spike

Cheers guys, i'll have a ring round a few Audi stealers in the next week or so, I may wait and get the brake fluid done in august/september, unless they say it has to be done.

servicing repairs and assistance

My Audi dealer refused to give my car a pre end of warranty check on the grounds that "I was just trying to get any faults repaired free before the end of the warranty". Er........ eh?........That's what is called good prestige car after sales service, and has been par for the course since purchase. He also refused an MOT, told me to take it elsewhere and let them know if there were any problems. This on the grounds that they could earn good money in the time that it took to MOT my car. That's what so lovable about Audi dealers.

That is hilarious! Thankfully not all dealers are the same - mine was happy to oblige.

Incidentally my understanding is that your dealer would make money on the warranty work anyway: dealer does the work, Audi UK reimburses. Which makes their behaviour even more bizarre.

Cheers, Richard.
