Simple tuning for A2 TDi

Before i did get my A2 i did want to get an aftermarket chip for it.
Looking at the prices for chipping the engine i did decide to leave the engine the way it left the factory.
But looking on Ebay i did see an add for a part that i did like, espacially the price, only 49 euro.
I did buy this part and placed it like the directions for use said.

Its amazing, car has much more power.
I only drove it for ten minutes or so, with a big smile on my face [27]

Interested?
Look at: http://www.amh-booster.de/main.html

Dieselpower,

why don`t you order the tuning-kit from Abt. I know it is expensive but you still have your warranty. My car is tuned by Abt, its great fun driving it.

Looks interesting, if only I could read German. What is it and how does it work?

I've tried my best, which is not great. But hopefully it will give you an idea Abre.
This is the first page....

The amh-Booster is a true power package.. 20 HP at a very afourdable price.
With almost the same diesel consumption, your Turbodiesel receives more torque and more HP. The installation is possible even for the layman to manage within 5-10 minutes.
Your advantages you will see are:
* fits all diesel motors with pump-nozzle-injection (this is what your A2 has)
* no intervention into the ECU
* for those high-speed Mondays
* suitable just for everyday life

Hope that helps some
Cheers

Thanks Tim, almost sounds too good to be true!

Abre,

It sounded to good to be true to me also when i did see this item on Ebay and so i did hesitate for a few weeks.
I thought to give it a try (due to the low price) and did buy one from AMH-Booster.
I did receive the booster just after one week and did fit it in 10 minutes.
Car has much more torque at a lower RPM.
Fuel consumption is higher when accelelarating, but on cc the fuel consumption is the same as before.
As far as i do understand German this booster gives the ECU an order to boost up the dieselpressure, the turbopressure remains the same, so there is no chance of damaging the turbo.

Dieselpower,

Thanks for the additional infromation, I assume then if your journey's all stop and start you would take quite a hit on fuel consumption.
