Hi,
I have had the following codes showing on my Audi 1.6 FSI:
18012 - Internal Control Module: Output Driver IC Error
P1604 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17912 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs P1504 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
16576 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs P0192 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
The 18012 and 16576 are a new ones and the engine light came on and the car failed to start. After a few minutes it did restart.
The 17912 code has been around for a while and has not activated the engine warning light and a look around the myriad of breather pipes will probably sort that one.
Assuming 18012 and 16576 caused the problem (one or both) and ideas where to start checking?
I have checked both codes:
16576 - Fuel rail pressure sensor - low input. Wiring short to earth, FRP sensor
18012 - Engine control module defective. ECM
