A2OC Donor
went into crewe audi today to order some parts (£120+)
experience of crewe Audi has been mixed to say the least, however dealt with parts advisor Richard, really good bloke, told him I was a member of A2OC and he gave me 10% off
really helpful

In my experience the parts guys are some of the most helpful people working at Audi. Although they are obviously in short supply as they never seem to stick around very long.

Cheers

Jonathan

yep I'd second or should that be fourth that, SKF parts people very helpful even when Audi change the pattern if a part without telling anyone they chase it up for you and get a solution, full marks I say

YEs, I can wholeheartedly recommend the parts team at Manchester Audi - Kenny, Alex, Sam & Mark - top blokes who are great to deal with.

Cheers,

Mike

I got a bodykit from there that was missing important parts to fit it (they were meant to be in the bags but when checked at home they were missing). I called to inform them that they were missing, I was told to write to the business manager. I wrote to the business manager who didnt bother to respond (I sent the letter recorded) It took me 4 months of calling around and waiting to get the parts who Doncaster Audi chased up and got for me at a cost of £40.

So I unfortunately dont have a particularly good experience of dealing with Manchester .

I know some of the background to your case and I sympathise with you.

However, I deal with these guys a couple of times a week on average and I can only speak as I find.

Cheers,

Mike

A customer is a customer nevertheless. I guess if you are better known to them they treat you differently. Doncaster Audi handled everything over the phone and to great effect. Its been around 4 months since I wrote to Manc Audi with no reply. I think I will write to Audi directly to point out this problem as in any case a response should have been forthcoming. I did ask them politely to respond and proved the cost of the extra parts which needed to be ordered with the official invoice from Doncaster Audi attached. I think a lesson has been learnt though, that is in future not to take it on the spoken word that everything that should be with the kit is 'in the bag'. A good example of this would be the kit on ebay which is missing its rear towing eye cover, so if any of the forum members do buy the kit please take note of the missing part.

It's now four years since this comment was made and Richard is still there, he is excellent.
