Spotted - light blue VW Lupo 1.2 TDI 3L, euro plate, M3 southwest towards Basingstoke

I saw a light blue car in my mirrors, initially I thought it might be a bluemotion Polo, but when it overtook I saw it was a Lupo 3L ! Think it's the first time I've seen one in the UK. European plates, didn't spot the country code.

SW on M3 towards Basingstoke.

A couple of years back I saw a blue in Gillingham Kent on UK plates. I only saw it the once so don't know if it was from that area or elsewhere.
